2010 Virtual postgraduate expo makes career decisions easier
Choosing whether to return to university to pursue postgraduate study is one of the most momentous decisions a person can make. After all, in choosing an area of study that will potentially lead to a lifelong career or even a change in career, you want to be sure it’s something that will challenge and inspire as well as maximise your future employability.
Maintaining the ability to balance study along with other important factors such as home life and work are also key considerations for anyone trying to decide whether to pursue further education. This year, Macquarie University makes that decision a bit easier with its Postgraduate Expo 2010.
For the first time, the University offers both online and on-campus events. All are designed to help you make the best choice for your career. The University is holding a range of events on campus. But if you can’t attend in person, you can find out about all of our postgraduate programs from the comfort of your own computer, watch online video information sessions, have your questions answered by one of our experts in live chat sessions and explore our beautiful campus by taking a virtual tour with some Macquarie postgraduate students.
The Postgraduate Expo, which takes place on Tuesday, September 28 and Wednesday, September 29, is designed to showcase a diverse range of study paths and career directions. The courses we offer are developed to be flexible and are tailored to meet the study needs of our postgraduate students. We offer outstanding support and personal service in your chosen area of study.
Students can choose from a vast range of topics and specialties which offer the chance to explore ideas within and across disciplinary boundaries. You decide how you want to study – full time, part-time, on or off campus. You can also connect with careers and communities through internships, study abroad programs and work integrated learning opportunities.
We offer world-class facilities, including a train station on campus and opening next year, a brand new state-of-the-art library. You’ll learn from teachers who are active researchers and are passionate about what they do. With all these advantages, Macquarie could be the right choice for your career.
